Welcome Back to Parkview’s Kids Church!  We missed you.

We are excited to announce that we are taking our first step to re-opening our Children’s Church starting on Sunday, Sept. 13th for Kids on the Move (6-12 years old).  Things will look a little different – so please take note of the following safety procedures and precautions.


CHECK-IN AND PICK-UP PROCESS

 

  • Check-in and pick-up will always be through the side door of the church.  
  • One-way flow of traffic. 
  • No going down the steps in the lobby.
  • Please arrive by 10:15 am for check-in.
  • Parents and children must wear a mask upon entering the building.
  • Please follow the social distancing markers on the floor.
  • Name tags will be printed for you when you get to the check-in desk.
  • Children will have their temperature checked and use hand sanitizer.
  • Parents will do a wellness inventory and sign a waiver.
  • Kids will enter the Fellowship Hall through the kitchen, parents will go up the steps to the Sanctuary.
  • Pick-up will follow the same procedures as above (steps 1-3) with entering through the side door of the building.

 

PRECAUTIONS DURING KIDS CHURCH

 

  • In the Fellowship Hall, chairs are socially distanced 6 feet apart with a basket placed under the chair (siblings may sit together).
  • Baskets are labeled, so all the supplies will only be for your child.
  • ALL our teachers and volunteers will wear masks.
  • Your child must wear a mask when getting out of their chair, going to the bathroom and moving in the hallway.
  • PLEASE do not bring your children to church if anyone in your home has been sick.

 

Our expectation is for all parents to follow the above safety procedures and maintain your child’s wellness.  We look forward to providing a safe and thriving environment for your child to grow spiritually within the house of the Lord.

PRESCHOOL

(3-5 yrs. old)


We missed you!

We are excited to announce that we are ready to re-open our Preschool Room starting on Sunday, Nov. 8th for children aged 3-5 years old. Things will look a little different, so please take note of the following safety procedures and protocols.

Upon consultation with local Preschool agencies, we have derived a set of best safety practices. Our goal is to provide a clean and healthy space for our children to learn God's Word and have fun in the process.


CHECK-IN AND PICK-UP PROCESS

 

  • Parents and children must wear a mask upon entering the building. It is required for a 5 year old to wear a mask, kids 3 & 4 years old will be the parents choice.
  • Check-in for Preschool kids will be through the FRONT door of the church.
  • If you are checking in older kids that are 6-12yrs old, please do that 1st by entering through the side door and then come up the stairs to Preschool.
  • Please arrive by 10:15 am to start the check-in process at the table in the lobby.
  • Parents will take a clipboard to sign a waiver and wellness inventory. If the child is new, please fill out an information form. Hand the forms to the teacher.
  • Please follow the social distancing markers on the floor.
  • Name tags will be given to the child when they enter the room.
  • All children will have their temperature checked and use hand sanitizer.
  • If you pick-up your Preschool child first, please go outside to the side door to get the older kids. The staircase is a one-way UP only, no going down.


PRECAUTIONS DURING

Preschool

 

  • In the Preschool room, personalized carpet squares will be used to play with toys and assist with social distancing.
  • Table time have desk shield dividers for "safe space" accommodations. (Please SEE VIDEO)
  • ALL our teachers and helpers will wear masks.
  • Masks are required for our 5 year olds and 3-4 yrs. old are optional. Kids masks can found in the lobby.
  • PLEASE do not bring your children to church if anyone in your home has been sick.
